This kit wireless stepper motor controller is being designed to bring the RF technology (range limited wireless communication) in use that is widely used wireless communication system. It is used in different applications in different forms like security systems, attendance systems, wireless control unit, etc. In this system, we are using this technology to make a wireless remote through which we can control the stepper motor in a definite range without touching for its different operations like direction and speed control. This kit is actually an educational kit.
In the kit wireless stepper motor controller, there are two sections of this system stepper motor control using RF technology; one is transmitter end and the other one is receiver end. At the transmitter end, there is an encoder IC which encodes the 4-bit data and transmits it with a wireless device working at 315/434 MHz. At the receiver end, the RF receiver receives the data with the antenna and feeds these data to the decoder IC.
In the kit wireless stepper motor controller the decoder IC decodes the data in 4-bit mode and microcontroller checks the data sequence with these 4 bits. The display unit is an LCD of 16×2 sizes. It is used for proper user interaction. According to the control, inputs pressed on the remote the control parameters that is direction and time delay (for speed) are changed and the change is displayed. After this stepper motor is commanded with a remote unit to operate according to the set parameters for direction and speed.
