Sensor Based Patient Need Intimation

This kit is being designed to bring the RF technology (range limited wireless communication) in use that is a widely used wireless communication system. This is the best useful kit for those persons who are fully paralyzed. Only by the movement of any part of the body they can convey any message to us on LCD. The device used to track the motion of the body is an accelerometer. Here we are transmitting the data wirelessly so the patient can be anywhere within the range of the device.

The accelerometer can be placed on any movable part of the body of the patient. If the patient wants to covey any message he has to move the accelerometer in any predefined manner. The analog data from the accelerometer is given to a comparator; four comparators combine the data in a unique 4-bit format.

This data is transmitted by a 4-bit encoder (HT12E) and RF module wirelessly. At the receiver end, the decoder (HT12D) and RF receiver together decode the 4-bit data and give it to the microcontroller. If the microcontroller receives the proper data, it triggers the buzzer and displays the data on the LCD.
