The microcontroller based door locker is an access control system that allows only authorized persons to access a restricted area. The system is fully controlled by the 8 bit microcontroller. A matrix keypad is interfaced to the microcontroller to enter the password while a motor driver IC is used to switch on motor. The complete circuit is built with on board power supply.This system consists of the multiple channel access control which comprises of different password of each system.
The system will open with their individual passwords. If the password at any phase is wrong the there will an alarm for the system. It has multiple door control with different authenticated password to open.
Each key in keypad has a distinct identity. This feature can be used to identify the key pressed using controller. Here the keypad number is decoded through presses. These decoded numbers are fed into the microcontroller .It checks the correctness of the code. If the code is correct then motor is energized to open the gate and in case code is not correct or somebody try to unlock by using some other way then it will give the alarm. This feature is applicable for all the gates but each having its unique different password.
